Kinesiology, from the Greek words kinesis (movement) and kinein (to move), also known as human kinetics, is the science of human movement.
The Kinesiology Department is devoting this site to serving current students, prospective students, alumni, and community members. Currently, we offer a B.S. degree in Kinesiology with concentrations in Exercise Science, Wellness, Interdisciplinary: with a Outdoor Education and Recreation focus and Interdisciplinary: with a Sport focus.
The Kinesiology Department also offers five minors in Human Movement: Adapted Physical Activity, Outdoor Education & Recreation, Sport Administration: Coaching, Sport Administration: Management, and Wellness.
